Setting for getting yahoomails in Nokia 3230.

It works for S60 Symbian phones.

Here is the setting...

To enable the setting, go to messaging--->option--->setting--->email--->mailboxex-->add new



Mailbox name: name it as u wish
Access point in use: bsnlgprs(for bsnl users)
: mobile office(for airtel users)
My email address: type ur email address
(ex: xyz@yahoo.co.in)

outgoing mail server: smtp.mail.yahoo.co.in
or : smtp.mail.yahoo.com
send message: Immediately
Send copy to self: yes or no (as u like to get a copy of mail or not)
Include signature: yes (or no if you donot like to add a signature at the end)
Username: xyz
Password:********
Incoming mail server:pop.mail.yahoo.co.in(pop.mail.yahoo.co.in if u have a xyz@yahoo.co.in id)
Mailbox type:POP3
Security: off
APOP secure login:off




That's it andnow u r ready to get the mails in ur massaging folder. This setting also works for cellphones like Nokia6600, Nokia7610 and all similar Series 60 second editions phones.
